"I have had problems with other edge guards becoming too lose or they are too bulky for my drawer. These guards are absolutely great; they are a perfect fit as they keep knives from slipping out. They are smooth and sleek so they take less room than the handle of the knife. The length is usually perfect in most; however, he has removed some in the length on a couple of times the safety extension was too great - he used a pair of Wiss heavy-duty snippers These snippers gave a clean, smooth cut, so no sanding was required."
