Good but not perfect

"I love that these scissors are sturdy and functional. They’ve cut thru everything well and the two sides separate and reattach very easily, making it red very easy to clean. However, these scissors lost 2 stars for me because I really don’t like how hard it is to open them after I close them. I have to apply way too much pressure to open them each time. I don’t know if my scissors are defective or if that is just a major design flaw. I use my kitchen shears for everything so it disappoints me when I cut my toddler’s pizza or when I cut meat during food prep because is is so hard to open and cut in a straight line."
