Utility in knife

"Not all my knives stay in the kitchen. Tackle box, tool box, camper etc. I want a great knife I can beat up or even loose and when replacing it's not the end of the world."

Affordable and a perfect budget knife.

"I bought a 100% carbon steel knife, the Park Plaza 8” chef knife from Messermeister, a couple years ago and love it, love it, love it. I wish they had a whole line of 100% carbon steel knives. So after a fruitless search for 100% carbon knives when I needed new knives I selected from the Pro- series. And they are comparable to the Park Plaza at a reasonable price. They feel good in the hand, they don’t slip in your grip and cut pretty much like a 100% carbon blade. I’ll pray someday I find the knives like the ones that were stolen when I was in culinary school. Someday."

I bought this knife because

"I bought this knife because it popped up as a suggestion as I purchased my more expensive knife, and I thought for the price, it was worth giving it a try; and I was not disappointed good utility knife for everyday"

Valerie C. (4/5)

Surprising how sharp this knife

"Surprising how sharp this knife is. Bought to replace a pampered chef knife that never seemed to work well and I shouldn't have waited so long! This knife slices like a dream, no pressure or forcing required."
