Messermeister, the women-owned maker of premium handcrafted chef’s knives, kitchen cutlery and cooking tools, together with Ventura-based men’s lifestyle brand Iron & Resin, today unveil Field & Flame, a limited-edition kitchen tools and accessories capsule rooted in ritual and environment, and designed for everyday use.
At the center of the outdoor adventure-inspired Field & Flame collection is a small run of Messermeister knives, each paired with a custom leather sheath designed to protect, carry, and wear in. The knives feature a denim micarta handle with a red G10 liner, infusing Iron & Resin’s distinctly California style into a design built for durability and performance. The material choice adds visual character and long-lasting strength, making these knives equally at home in the kitchen, by the campfire, or wherever the day leads.
The collection includes multi-use pieces including a denim apron and waxed canvas apron that double as knife rolls; vintage-inspired graphic tee shirts, and a waxed canvas hat offered in two hues. Every piece is built with intention and meant to be used in a variety of culinary settings - from the home to the camp fire, to professional kitchens in top restaurants.
“We partnered with Iron & Resin to create a line of knives that reflects their rugged, coastal-inspired ethos, crafted in Italy by skilled artisans and grounded in Messermeister’s commitment to performance and craftsmanship,” said Kirsten Dressler Wilson, Vice President of Messermeister. “Crafting this collection with Matthew and his team was unlike anything we have done, and we could not be prouder of what we have created together.”

About Iron & Resin
Iron & Resin is the brainchild of several friends, after years-and-years of industry experience, decided to turn back the clock and start anew. The brand started to take a stand against disposable, fast fashion, and has flourished as a small, hand built collection of goods that draws heavily upon the founder’s own lifestyles and experiences.
