"This was my first Messermeister knife, and several have followed. I always looked at a cheese knife, but was never sure I really needed one. I got this one and was impressed with the fit and finish and the olive wood handle. It is great for cheese (that's all I've used it for) and well made. I've always used a utility knife for cheese and always dealt with the cheese sticking to the knife. This knife handles that issue. Highly recommended."
"The first knife I was sent was defective. It would not cut straight. The blade had a slight bend thus would not cut straight or thin cuts. I notified the service department, they had me return it for evaluation. The blade was determined to be defective. You replaced the knife. I have been using it to cut cheese block into thin cheese slices I like it. Great service department."
