knife auction

to benefit world central kitchen

a fundraiser for the humanitarian crisis in ukraine

ACTION ENDED. WE RAISED OVER $7000 FOR WCK!

Messermeister teamed up with 2 artists to create 10 limited edition knives to benefit World Central Kitchen's humanitarian efforts in Ukraine. Matt Shulda (@360BladeFlip) outfitted our Meridian Elite 8” Stealth Chef’s Knives that are made in Solingen, Germany with custom handles repurposed from skateboards with Ukrainian colors. Artist, Shannon Menzel then put the finishing touches on these blades with a custom illustration engraved portraying a dove for peace, the Ukrainian coat of arms, and, its national flower, the sunflower. Each knife is individually numbered and beautifully photographed by Adam Secore.

100% of all funds raised will go towards World Central Kitchen's humanitarian crisis efforts in Ukraine!

*These auctions are for the knife only. Knife does not come with a knife block.

During COVID isolation in 2020, Matt Shulda from @360bladeflip started redoing his cheap knives to make them cool using skateboards he broke. Friends and family started asking if they could buy one so he started hunting down knives from thrift stores to refurbish.

Matt formed @360Blade Flip to not only make use of these broken boards that often just collect dust or get thrown out, but to bring discarded knives back to life as well. It lets people own something that is cool and unique while also helping reduce waste. It’s for skaters, chefs, and people who just love color!
