Beautiful at first glance -the knives and the block. I like the minimalist design. My counter doesn't feel cluttered. All the knives you'll need. None that collect dust. The knives feel great in the hand - nice weight and balance. They are sharp right out of the box. I would definitely buy them again - in 20+ years when they wear out.
