These knives spark joy. Satisfying knives in all respects from a utilitarian perspective, but moreover, my husband savors his Japanese knives on the end as he was a young exchange student in Japan and the olives…take me back to years in Provence. It’s the little things in life.

Overall mixed opinion. I love the look and feel of the set but they came with some quality issues. The chefs knife had a small chip and the utility knife came almost completely dull. Other than having to find someone to sharpen and fix that them I'm happy, but it is unfortunate to have these kinds of issues on what I consider to be my first "really nice" knife set. Didn't realize the quality issues until I had used the pairing quite a few times so I didn't think to bring it up until I was prompted to leave a review. I would still say to give them a chance but definitely give your knifes a thorough exam upon receipt.
