The scalloped edge of the Messermeister San Moritz Elité 9” Bread Knife will bite into the crust of bread. It allows for smooth slicing without exerting pressure that can compress the slice. This knife is also used to slice through soft-skinned fruits and vegetables. This is not recommended for cutting proteins.
Hand-wash with warm water and a mild detergent; rinse and dry immediately.
Do not place in dishwasher.
