About this product

The Messermeister Asian Precision 8" Deba Knife is a heavy, wide and wedge shaped single edge blade with a sloping curve to the tip and looks like a cross between a chef’s knife and a cleaver. The 8" blade length is ideal for large fish.

Usage

It is ideal for separating meat from the bone as well as cut ting the bone, scraping the scales, and cutting the head of the fish. It can also be used to cut through the bones and cartilage of poultry.
